Yes, LSMHS is accredited by St Martinus University, Curaçao, a Caribbean Dutch island also a member of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a member of the European Union.

All our degree programmes are accredited and awarded by St Martinus University through an academic partnership. Our programmes meet rigorous academic and professional standards.

Do you accept International Students?

Yes, we do accept. Please contact our Admissions Team to find more about short-term study visas.  

Are you offering any courses leading to an MD or MBBS degree?

We offer a foundation degree programme (Pre-Medical MDO) prior to starting an MD programme at St Martinus University.

What is the duration of the programme at LSMHS?

The duration of each programme varies. A typical undergraduate programme lasts 24 to 36 months, while a postgraduate programme lasts 12 to 18 months.

How and where are classes conducted?

In order to ensure a well-rounded education, we offer a combination of online, hybrid, and traditional classroom-based learning. As part of our commitment to providing a high level of learning for our students, we utilise the facilities of UK universities.

Are scholarships available?

What is so special about LSMHS?

Our specialised postgraduate degree programmes make us different from other UK and European medical schools. We offer in-demand accredited masters degree programmes in Artificial Intelligence for Digital Health, Applied Aesthetic Medicine and Hair Transplant and Restoration. St Martinus University has an affiliated hospital in the US where clinical rotations may be arranged.

Do you offer clinical rotations or hands-on practice?

Yes, the clinical rotations are part of the postgraduate programme that will be offered at St Martinus University’s own hospital in the United States. We also have other associate clinics and hospitals in the United States that can facilitate your clinical rotation.

Is it possible to earn an equivalent qualification from the United Kingdom while studying a MSc Applied Medical Aesthetics degree at LSMHS?

YES, you can achieve an Ofqual approved and recognised Postgraduate Certificate in Aesthetic Practice. The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.

How can I apply to LSMHS?

What are the admission requirements?

Admission requirements vary by programme. In general, these documents include academic transcripts, standardised test scores (if applicable), letters of recommendation, and a personal statement. Is there an application fee?

There is a fee of £350 for the application process. For the purpose of confirming your admission to any of our courses, you must pay a minimum deposit. There will be an admin fee charged if you cancel your admission after the required cancellation date or if your short-term visa application is rejected after you have applied for it.

What accommodation options are available for students?

LSMHS can assist students in finding suitable accommodation, which may include purpose built student student accommodation, private landlords housing, shared apartments, or private rentals.

4. Career Support

Can I work as a Hair Transplant Practitioner in the UK after completing an MSc in Hair Transplant and Restoration?

You must be a qualified doctor to study this postgraduate degree course. You need to be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom to practise as a Hair Transplant Practitioner. GMC registration is only possible upon successful completion of the UKMLA examination. 

Can I become a member of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery as a Diplomate after completing the MSc Hair Transplant and Restoration at LSMHS?

NO, you cannot be registered as a Diplomate with the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery after completing the MSc Hair Transplant and Restoration at LSMHS. Fortunately, our course curriculum can help you prepare for the Certification of a Diplomate to register with the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, USA.

Can international students find employment opportunities in the UK or USA after completing the course?

Yes, international students may be able to work in the UK or USA after they complete their studies. Depending on the country, work visa regulations may apply, so it’s important to check with the appropriate authorities.
